current shots for your viewing pleasure...

I had the brilliant idea a couple of days ago to someday make a photo album with tyler and my first year/s...we haven't taken too many pictures together, but thanks for my bloggy here, i've tried taking pictures of most of the things we've done so i have a few memories. perhaps timwilde that album will get some time while tyler studies... anyways! here are some recent happenings...

we kitty-sat over thanksgiving and got a kick out of scaring richard...

we also took a skating trip to the galleria...and wanted to get a picture for timwilde our christmas card. i'm showing you these pictures because we chose a different photo for the card (and you can't see it yet! hehe...) the below on the right is the crazy youth group kids after skating when we had them over to our tiny home for goodies. these guys are definitely going to be on the top of our "what we miss about houston" list...

we also (obviously you already know this if you read my last post...) took a little trip south of timwilde the border. well...not quite, but if we were blindfolded, picked up, and put down on the island, unblindfolded, and asked where we were, our answer would have been just that. anyways...saturday was perfect for relaxing (me), running on the beach (ahem...tyler, not me) and building sandcastles (again...tyler)

tyler's masterpiece sandcastle is pictured to the right...if you can guess what college campus this is, you win a timwilde PRIZE! (or......just kidding..... maybe just my praise and appreciation)

and on the way back home, we decided to swing by the church to help decorate for Christmas! (just kidding...i planned the whole thing...and we were slightly rushed trying to get through sam's club to get holiday treats to keep everyone interested) but this is my husband and a couple of other guys helping with the tree. tyler wins the "timwilde best husband award" for being so cheerful and helpful (although at the end of the night, i did lose him in the gym playing football with a few other guys...)
last friday night was a trip to the houston aero's hockey game, which people only go to in order to see the players fight. and fight they did. i think there were 4, maybe 5 official "game-stopping" fights...uff da! i tried getting pictures of them, but i was never quick enough and you can't really tell what they are.

after the game, we wandered down the block (downtown, by the way...i love timwilde downtown!) to discovery green (a park in the middle of the city) and they had outdoor ice skating (it was 60 degrees! and people were skating!) the rink is running from thanksgiving through christmas and people were even skating this past weekend when it was 80 degrees! now that's amazing! there was also this amazing path that had really sweet green lights and lamps with pictures on them...weird, i know...

so that was our november! :) and timwilde december is shaping up to be even busier! thursday night i'm flying up to colorado springs to help one of my good friends, sabrina, celebrate her birthday!! (pictures of that will surely follow) we've got christmas party after christmas party and finally the drive up to rapid city for the real christmas! :) have a good week, everyone! thanks for stopping by!

thanks, especially, to our friend (well, tyler's friend...but i claim him now too), tim wilde who is a devoted blog reader of mine (just kidding...i bribed him with a shout-out if he looked at it...) so you probably noticed his name sprinkled here and there. how many "timwildes" did you find?

Love it!

My blogs a great way to keep all my pictures in order too! I've sucked at updating, but I love that I have a online book of all my happenings :)

aren't blogs great?

I was really beginning to wonder if the 'timwilde' was some sort of weird glitch.

I'm glad to see you spent some quality time on the beach with your knitting...I wish I could do that right now. But all I have are snow banks :(
